Power comes from the original German DEUTZ BF6M1013FW water‑cooled diesel engine, which outputs 165kW at 2300rpm to guarantee stable power output under heavy‑load and high‑gradient working conditions. Matched with American DANA C270 torque converter and R32000 power‑shift transmission, the machine supports four‑speed forward‑and‑reverse shifting together with emergency brake function. The QY‑150 rigid planetary drive axle equipped with non‑spin anti‑slip differential delivers strong traction up to 160KN, and enables 25% gradeability under full‑load condition. The travelling speed ranges from 5 km/h at 1st gear to 22.5km/h at 4th gear to satisfy different haulage cycle requirements.

Safety‑oriented braking configuration includes service brake and spring‑applied parking brake. Fully‑enclosed multi‑disc wet hydraulic brakes are applied for service braking to adapt to dusty, wet underground environments and extend component service life. To fit varied mine site requirements, optional configurations are available, such as remote‑control module, centralised lubrication system and rear‑view camera.
