FUK‑30 30‑ton Underground Dump Truck Launched for High‑efficiency Underground Mining

The FUK‑30 articulated underground mining truck, engineered for harsh underground mine conditions, has been officially released for global markets. It features a rated payload of 30 000 kg, a heaped bucket volume of 15 m³, an operating weight of 28 900 kg and a total loaded mass up to 58 900 kg, delivering high‑performance haulage for ore and waste rock transportation in medium‑to‑large underground mines.

Built around proven central‑articulated design, the truck measures 10 100 mm long and 2 640 mm wide, with 450 mm minimum ground clearance. It achieves ±44° steering angle and 4 670 mm minimum inner turning radius, granting outstanding agility in narrow underground drifts, sharp bends and uneven tunnel floors.

Key powertrain and hydraulic components are sourced from internationally‑renowned suppliers. It is powered by Volvo TAD1351VE 6‑cylinder water‑cooled diesel engine with rated power of 285 kW at 1 900 rpm. The torque converter and transmission are supplied by American DANA. Kessler/DANA axles are fitted, with front axle oscillation angle of ±9° to keep all wheels in consistent ground contact. Major hydraulic pumps and valves are imported from Parker, Rexroth, Wabco and other premium brands to secure high‑level reliability.

For operational safety, FUK‑30 adopts dual braking solution: fully‑enclosed multi‑disc wet hydraulic service brake plus spring‑applied parking brake, meeting strict underground safety standards. The hydraulic system covers working, steering, braking and charging‑acceleration circuits. The hopper dumps at 61°, with lifting time 16.1 s, lowering time 13.2 s and dumping height 5 730 mm for efficient cycle operation. Made of manganese steel, the hopper resists impact and abrasion during rock loading‑unloading cycles.

Four forward‑reverse speed ranges provide maximum travel speed of 32 km/h, maximum traction force of 300 KN and gradeability up to 15°, supporting heavy‑load travelling on underground ramps. The 24‑V electrical system includes dedicated underground lighting set. The operator cabin is reinforced with 6 mm steel plate with manual control as standard. Multiple optional packages are available: remote control system, centralized lubrication, rear‑view camera, enclosed air‑conditioned cabin. Customers can select configurations tailored to tunnel dimensions and site requirements.
