Underground scooptram (also called LHD, Load-Haul-Dump) is the core trackless machine for underground mining, responsible for ore scooping, short-distance transport and dumping. Underground tunnels feature narrow space, bumpy ground, heavy dust and humid environment, which raise strict standards for machine power, braking and hydraulic reliability. Customized for small & medium hard rock mines, FKWJ-3 diesel scooptram has a rated payload of 7 tons and 3.5m³ bucket. It balances loading capacity, body size and maintenance cost, becoming a popular model for mining companies worldwide.

Power comes from German DEUTZ BF6M1013 water-cooled diesel engine, rated 165KW at 2300rpm, with 25% gradeability under full load, providing enough power reserve for deep mines and long ramps. The full transmission system uses original American DANA parts: C270 torque converter matched with R32000 4-speed power shift transmission, with 4 forward & 4 reverse gears and emergency brake for stable speed under heavy load. Standard heavy-duty DANA 16D axle, optional KESSLER D91 axle, with strong shock and torsion resistance to fit rough underground gravel roads and cut maintenance frequency.

The full hydraulic system consists of world-famous brand parts: Parker pumps and valves for working & steering system, Rexroth brake pump, Wabco brake valve and WILLIAMS acceleration parts. Rated working pressure reaches 14MPa while brake pressure is 12.5MPa. The hydraulic system responds quickly with smooth lifting, scooping and steering actions. Max breakout force hits 120KN and traction force 140KN, avoiding stall or slip when loading large ore blocks. Large capacity tanks (240L diesel tank, 300L hydraulic oil tank) support long continuous operation and reduce downtime for refueling.

Dual braking system ensures underground safety: fully enclosed multi-disc wet hydraulic service brake plus spring parking brake. The brake structure is isolated from underground dust and mud, resistant to wear and oil leakage. It locks the machine automatically on ramps to prevent sliding. The 24V dual-battery electric system equips complete lights, alarms and emergency stop devices to eliminate underground hazards.

Compact body fits narrow tunnels: total length 9350mm (bucket down) / 8780mm (bucket up), width 2150mm, minimum ground clearance 352mm. Rear axle swings ±10°, steering angle 40° left & right, minimum inner turning radius 3220mm and outer radius 5760mm for easy U-turn in narrow tunnels. The bucket is made of wear-resistant manganese steel. Standard manual lubrication system, optional centralized auto lubrication, video remote control, air-conditioned closed cabin, ejector bucket and other customized options are available for clients.

Four travel gears cover all working conditions, with maximum speed 20km/h for both empty and full load, balancing low-speed heavy loading and high-speed haulage. Machine self-weight is 19740kg and total loaded weight 25740kg, equipped with heavy-duty 17.50-25 mining tires. Long wheelbase and low center of gravity design greatly improve driving stability and prevent rollover under full load.

Core components can be adjusted and selected according to global mining conditions. Custom configuration plans are available based on tunnel size, production scale and ventilation, suitable for gold, copper, lead-zinc and iron mines in Europe, Southeast Asia, South America and Africa. All core power, transmission and hydraulic parts are original imported with low failure rate and global spare parts supply, cutting full-life maintenance cost. It is a cost-effective underground haulage solution with premium performance.
