FKWJ-6 Underground LHD Loader: Core Equipment for Efficient Ore Transportation in Deep Mines

Aug. 13, 2026

LHD loaders are the essential trackless equipment connecting blasting faces, ore passes and crushers in underground mining. Developed for medium and large deep mines, the FKWJ-6 model carries targeted upgrades to adapt to harsh underground conditions in four core aspects: mechanical structure, power system, operation control and safety configuration.

The machine adopts an articulated split front-rear frame design. The rear frame with stable swing angle adapts to uneven, bumpy underground road surfaces. Its low-profile compact body greatly improves mobility inside narrow tunnels and stope drifts. The reinforced front bucket relies on a high-performance hydraulic system to complete lifting, lowering and dumping smoothly, shortening each operation cycle and raising overall underground ore handling efficiency.

It is equipped with a world-renowned water-cooled diesel engine matched with professional exhaust purification silencer units, complying with mainstream European and American mining emission standards. The exhaust and heat load are well controlled to reduce pressure on underground ventilation systems. The heavy-duty hydrodynamic transmission system with multi-speed shifting balances climbing performance under full load and high-speed tramming on level roadways. Front and rear heavy-duty drive axles with anti-slip differentials maintain stable traction on slippery broken rock roads to avoid skidding.

The all-wheel fully enclosed wet multi-disc braking system integrates service, parking and emergency braking with spring-applied, hydraulic-release logic. The vehicle locks automatically once the engine shuts down to prevent rolling risks. Multiple sets of lighting lamps and reverse audible alarms expand visual and audible warning zones in dim stopes and tunnel corners.

The operator cabin is laterally arranged with suspended cushion seats. Lightweight control joysticks reduce operator fatigue during long shifts. A large LCD monitor centralizes all machine operating data with visualized fault early warnings for real-time condition monitoring. The cabin is fitted with heavy-duty ROPS/FOPS canopy to shield operators from falling rocks and tunnel collapse impacts.

Independent hydraulic circuits are separately arranged for bucket lifting/dumping and steering without mutual interference, delivering sensitive and steady movements. All filling ports are centrally arranged to simplify daily lubrication, fluid replacement and filter maintenance, minimizing equipment downtime for servicing.

Complete safety mechanisms cover all underground hazards: cabin door interlock prevents startup with an open door; portable fire extinguisher comes standard with reserved interfaces for automatic fire suppression systems; mechanical lock structure for lifting arms secures the bucket during maintenance to avoid unexpected falling caused by hydraulic pressure loss; neutral gear interlock forbids startup with engaged gears to eliminate runaway risks.

Multiple optional upgrades are available on demand, including manual/automatic centralized lubrication, premium suspension seats, line-of-sight remote control and long-distance wireless video remote modules. It fits both conventional manual mines and modern intelligent low-manpower deep mining projects, with customizable operation solutions for various production demands.

Balancing heavy-load capacity, underground maneuverability, eco-friendly emissions and easy maintenance, the FKWJ-6 underground LHD loader serves as a mainstream trackless transport solution for medium and large underground mines to boost ore output and reinforce underground operation safety.
